                       My Happy News


    For this first blog post I am going to be sharing with you my happy news. I have just been introduced to this concept by my professor. Basically happy news is news about good things happening in the world.
 To start off my first bit of happy news is that my birthday was a few weeks ago. I turned 19 and I feel pretty good about that. For my birthday I went out and got burgers and cupcakes. I probably could've done something a little more fancy but I've been one for huge birthday parties. I received birthday wishes from my family and friends which made me very happy.  
   My next piece of happy news is about the spring semester starting. While I enjoyed the winter break, towards the end I was starting to get a little bored. All my classes have just begun and I'm enjoying all my new professors. I'm seeing some new faces in class and some familiar faces which is always fun. Most of my classes are online but I have a few that could be on campus. Last semester I was on campus for a little bit but I hope to visit more this semester.
   I'm happy to be writing again. Writing is something that I enjoy even if sometimes it's hard for me to write about something. Last semester I pulled lots of all-nighters and I expect to be doing it again this semester. I find the whole writing process rewarding in the end now matter how hard the struggles are. I had to do blogs in another class and it gave me some trouble but looking back I thought it was fun.
 Some more recent happy news is that I've been starting to get back into reading comics. I've always loved superheroes I grew up on them. I've seen every Marvel movie and tv show but the actual comics themselves can be very confusing to read. There's millions of comics written and drawn by many different people. The major events that take place in the comics have are connected by lots of tie-ins and I easily lose track of what I'm trying to read. Luckily there's reading guides online that I use to help me follow a certain story.
  My last and most recent piece of happy news is that last week I went to the mall and made a rather spontaneous purchase. I don't do that very often but this time around I thought " why not ?" I bought a game that I've beaten before. This may seem strange but this was a new version of the game. I've been playing it nonstop and it's like a whole new experience. The game was originally very long it took me a few months to finish but with all the new features and storylines it seems I'll be playing it for a while.

Struggle Meals

                                                           Top 3 Struggle Meals                    As a college student who is sometimes low on resources I find myself having to get creative with the food I want to eat. I'm not always able to order takeout or get fast food and if there's barley any food in my house I'll have to make a struggle meal. Struggle meals are basically cheap and easy to make snacks.
