My Top 3 Favorite songs of All Time

When it comes to music my taste in it varies. Most of the music I listen to nowadays is what's ever playing on the radio . If I had to chose 3 of my favorite songs I know that none of them were made by current artist. This is because of my parents and the music they grew up listening to. My parents were born in the raised in the early 70's and grew in the 80's. When I was growing up all I would listen to was their music. The most common bands and singers that would be played in the car radio was Steely Dan, The Police, and Michael Jackson. My parents love these musicians  and do I. I've listen to these musicians for a long time and that is why my top 3 favorite songs were made by them.

For the number 3 spot I'm choosing The Police with their song titled "When the World is Running Down, You Make The Best Of What's Still Around". I chose this song because I enjoy the chill vibe it gives off. The lyrics are simplistic and you can instantly nod your head to this song. I think this song is kind of relevant to what's happening in the world today. With the pandemic still going on I guess you can say that the world has been "running down" and everyone is just trying to "make the best of what's still around"... you see what I did there ?

In the number 2 spot I'm picking Michael Jackson's "Off The Wall". Michael Jackson is undisputedly one of the best musicians off all time. He has so many hit songs that I enjoy. Off The Wall is very funky and as soon as it comes on you just want to jam out to it. I always thought this song had a slight eerie feeling to it because the intro was kind of creepy to me. If I'm ever feeling down this song will always raise my spirits.

In the number 1 spot I am picking the song called "Peg" by Steely Dan. I really enjoy this song because it's so upbeat. The song is very groovy and makes you want to sing along with the band. The song makes great use of various instruments. Steely Dan is probably one of my favorite bands of all time. I had a tough time choosing just one song to put on this list. Steely Dan has made many amazing songs like Josie, Reeling in the Years, Kid Charlemagne, the list goes on and on but I think Peg is definitely one of their best. During long car rides with my family Peg would be one of those songs we played on repeat.

  2. This music selection is great it's always a good feeling to see people who like similar music and the inclusion of "Off the Wall" is a great touch.
