Struggle Meals

                                                         Top 3 Struggle Meals

As a college student who is sometimes low on resources I find myself having to get creative with the food I want to eat. I'm not always able to order takeout or get fast food and if there's barley any food in my house I'll have to make a struggle meal. Struggle meals are basically cheap and easy to make snacks. The most common type of struggle meal is ramen noodles, but I haven't eaten those since I was a kid. Either ramen noodles just don't taste as good as they used to or I just never made them correctly. I'm going to share with you my top 3 favorite Struggle Meals.

        3. Crackers

Saltine Crackers are great snacks that I use eat in a variety of different ways. Most of the time I eat the crackers as they are but every now and then I eat them with mayo. I also use peanut butter and even jelly. If I have any pepperoni I'll make a tiny cracker sandwich. It's best you have some water with you because the crackers will make your throat very dry.

2. Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich

I've been in love with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches ever since I was a child. I get made fun of by mom for still making them as a snack but it doesn't bother me. It's such an easy to make snack and it tastes great with a cold glass of milk. If I'm ever out of bread I'll just eat peanut butter with a spoon. If I have actual peanuts I'll happily eat them. I like salted peanuts but unsalted peanuts are good as well.

    1. Lunch Meat

Lunch Meat is my favorite struggle meal because with or without bread it's good. I barley know how to cook so lunch meat has saved me from starvation plenty of times. My favorite lunch meats are ham and turkey. Recently I stumbled upon this spicy chicken lunch meat and I paired it with this spicy mayo spread. I'm not in to spicy food that much but it's pretty good
