My Best Friend Jalen

Let me tell you about my best friend Jalen. We met through our mothers, they were friends and both of our older sisters were friends. He is a few years older than me. Which is a fact I often forget because I'm taller than him. Jalen and I go way back and when I think back on the times we shared it always puts a smile on my face because it was so much fun.  We would constantly have sleepovers and stay up all night playing video games and watching cartoons. Sometimes we would stayover at his grandmother's house, she was so sweet and kind to me. I still remember eating ramen noodles and drinking Hawaiian punch. Jalen and I have had many fun adventures. I haven't spoken to Jalen in a few years, but I still consider him my best friend. I heard he joined the army like his sister and was stationed in Japan, which I think is pretty cool. I've always wanted to go to Japan. I wish I had a photo of us to share but back then I didn't have a phone. Either way I hope h...

Top 3 Struggle Meals                    As a college student who is sometimes low on resources I find myself having to get creative with the food I want to eat. I'm not always able to order takeout or get fast food and if there's barley any food in my house I'll have to make a struggle meal. Struggle meals are basically cheap and easy to make snacks. The most common type of struggle meal is ramen noodles, but I haven't eaten those since I was a kid. Either ramen noodles just don't taste as good as they used to or I just never made them correctly. I'm going to share with you my top 3 favorite Struggle Meals.         3. Crackers     Saltine Crackers are great snacks that I use eat in a variety of differen...

They're easy to make and you can bake them with chocolate chips or peanut butter and even oatmeal. My sister loves to bake and she makes amazing cookies. She learned from our mom who makes the best cookies. There are many different types of cookies but I think there are 3 types that are without a doubt the best cookies ever made.                                                       1. Oatmeal Raisin Cookies    I originally did not like oatmeal raisin cookies. I thought they...
